I believe that the rule only applies in the US, as other countries
have quite different rules about alcohol. It might be a good idea to
look up what it actually says before figuring out the consequences.
Even in the US, I think there's a limit below which it doesn't count,
i.e. "near beer" and alcohol-free beer and wine do have a tiny bit
of alcohol, but little enough that they can be sold to children.
