In Kansas, anything above 3.2% can only be sold in liquor stores. Anything 
below that, generally wine coolers and beer especially produced for the 
grocery store, can be sold in grocery stores. And it's only recently that 
you can sell it on Sunday. I think that's all over the state now.

Missouri can pretty much sell anything at any time anywhere, except on 
Sundays. I believe that Nebraska is the same.

Here in our county(s) in Texas is kind of odd. We live almost literally on 
the border between Williamson/Travis county. You cannot sell liquor before 
noon, restaurant, bar, store, whatever. Liquor stores cannot be open on 
Sundays. You can buy real beer and wine in grocery stores, whether it's 
Sunday or not. In Williamson you have to belong to the "club", be it 
Applebee's or whatever, that you are in to be able to drink. Hence the club 
card that you can get at any bar or restuarant, that can be used at any 
other bar or restuarant, that is also free. This might have been struck 
down, because I don't remember being asked to join the club last time my 
husband and I ordered a drink on the Williamson county side of the line. 
Texas used to be really odd because you would have completely dry counties 
where prohibition was effectively still in effect, right next to completely 
wet counties where the stuff was practically handed out as door prizes. 
Seems to me that this practice has pretty much been evened out over the 
state in the past ten years. (I've been visiting this state for over 34 yrs 
now, it's just in the past three years that I've moved down here.)
