[Sca-cooks] What would you do?

First, I'd have pitched a fit long before the day before the event.
Then, I'd tell the autocrat that I would be picking up the food when I got the check, but the
prices might be higher, because I'd not have time to shop for the best values.
Third, I would also ask around to see if anyone in the group could float the money for some
dishes.
Fourth, I would gather together a working group at my house the day before the event and get the
pre-cooked stuff done.
Fifth, I'd call in all the favors I could to get people to help in the kitchen on the day of.
Now, mind, I have done a dayboard along those lines with the food picked up the day before the
event, I just had about 8-10 people in the kitchen. :)
