[Sca-cooks] OT: I feel ill...

The real life mother, Dr. Lillian Gilbreth, possessed the brilliant mind 
that gave us the Efficiency Kitchen. <shudder> See, she didn't cook (or 
could you guess that...) but since she was female, everyone assumed she 
must know All About Cooking. Genetically.

The second book, Belles on their Toes, has a hysterical chapter 
describing what her loving children had to go through whenever  
journalists wanted to interview Mrs. Gilbreth In Her Own Home, Cooking 
In Her Own Kitchen. First, they had to lure the hired man, who actually 
did all the cooking, away for the day....
