Yeah, we don't have any stores close by other than a couple of gourmet
stores (Trader Joe's up in Annapolis, Whole Foods, also in Annapolis,
and Woodburns, a family store that turned gourmet when Food Lion moved
in). And none of these carry anything that even remotely resembles
either verjus or sour grape juice. Olwen was going to try to find some
for me up in Baltimore, but even her source appears to have dried up.
And, having used the real stuff, I really don't want to go back to the
mixture of white wine and white wine vinegar that I had devised to
approximate the taste.
