Well, my two sous.

Plenty of redhead (natural or hennaed) in my neck of the woods. Ferrets
would fit in just fine. Even being in 'the mountains' so to speak, it
usually snows about 1000' above where I live, and the local climate
caused the city of Ashland to be advertised as the Florence (Italy) of
the West Coast. To the west are the Cascades and Crater Lake (and Oregon

High Dessert, if you like) about an hour away, and to the east is the
Pacific Ocean and the beautiful Oregon Coast, also about an hour away.

Of course the real attraction, after the redheads, is the beer, wine,
and coffee. Oregon grows the best hops up in the Willamette Valley, some

award wining wines there and in the Umpqua and Rogue Valleys, and coffee

has become a fifth food group in the PNW.

Yeah, it rains a bit. Perhaps more than a mist or drizzle that sends
Caidians and Atens scurring for cover (the An Tir Book of Combat
requires SCA legal helms to come with snorkels no less than 12" or
clearing 36" while kneeling.) Which is why Oregon is so green, and grows

the best hops, grapes, and recreational herbs. :)
