[Sca-cooks] herbs for hanging baskets?

Basil usually grows up, but oregano (wild marjoram) and sweet or knotted 
marjorams can spread and droop under the right conditions. Prostrate 
rosemary (a specific variety) also does this beautifully. Thyme is another 
good candidate. 

Mints aren't big fans of good drainage, so you will want to water the mint 
pretty well.

There's no real way to tell which varieties of thyme are the most period, 
though I would avoid the name hybrids.
