[Sca-cooks] Girl Scout demo--what's good for young kids?

Good Gentles,

I've been asked on short notice to do the cooking demo at this weekend's
Girl Scout demo. It's a big demo that our barony does annually. The person
originally scheduled had to step down because of life.

My request for help comes down to this: what is good to do for a cooking
demo with young girls in a lodge with fireplace and hearth? (And what
equipment is needed for your suggestion?)
