That was when NASA began talking about the hubble and y2k. Is that good
or bad? And we did eventually kill disco. I mean who knew it was that
reseliant?

In general, though, the mid-70's doesn't seem to hold a lot for our 
culture to be proud of, comparted to some other decades.

It's intended to be. I never actually saw the play, but that was the 
impression I got. The movie, on the other hand, is clearly, if you 
look at the clothes, the hair, etc., set in a comic book in an alien 
world.
