http://www.florilegium.org/ is good place to start, especially since
you want recipes in English or already translated. See the files
in the section on sweetened foods and fruits.

For sweets--- you might consider whipped cream (chill the bowl, the cream,
and whip by hand adding bit of sugar or honey to sweeten.) with wafers or
Digby cakes or one or the other of the cookies from the medieval cookies
file. Look for ones that you can either do ahead and bring or bake in a 
pizzelle
iron on site or on a griddle or skillet. You might serve with a 
sweetened fruit mixture.
Either berries or fall fruits or even applesauce which could be cooked 
on site.
