[Sca-cooks] Recipes with a few ingredients

I wanted to ask if anyone with a period recipe or two that uses 3
ingredients (plus water, salt, and/or pepper if you like) would add some of
them to the postings on the 3 Ingredient Recipes list:
3IngredientRecipes-subscribe at yahoogroups.com . And it would be great to
have a couple of sentences about the origin of the recipe and your redaction
to expand the awareness of historical cookery as well.

In 3 Ingredient Recipes the object is to use 3 ingredients and any of the
freebies of water, salt, and pepper that you like. An ingredient can be
used in more than one form in a recipe, and it still counts as just one
ingredient. For instance a pea soup might be made with pureed peas and
whole peas or a dish might include both fresh grapes and raisins. Or
something might be made with two different colors of grapes or two different
colors of onion, and the grapes or onions would count as a single
ingredient.

And please feel free to post to SCA-cooks as well. Wonderful recipes with
just a few ingredients could be a big help to feast cooks as well.
