I have read reports of porpoises in the Thames.

Also, I has seen a great many translations that were completely inccorect<I 
wish I could spel anglish<g>> because the translator did not take into 
account the idium of the day.

By way of example, the word "Canus -a -um" in latin has 42+ meanings.  from 
low roll on the dice<modern Snake-eyes> to a physically ugly person<it was 
used for both genders>, to common dog.
