I know that that statement was made in jest, but it seems to be one of 
those absolute statements that aren't always true. So far the "race" 
hasn't been defined. Nothing says it has to be on a track, nor the 
distance nor the load that the animal is carrying. Say a long race over 
a rough mountain pass carrying a large pack. :-)
