But you have totally ignored Allen Sherman, who
created this genre long before science fiction
filking was ever done. And you made no mention
of Weird Al Yankovitch, who is probably the most
recognizable filker now. Granted, they don't
do science-fiction filking, but SF filking is
only one element of filking in general.
Huette, who was part of the LA Filkharmonics
first performance, author of quite a few SCA
filks and a proud co-author of three Dark
Shadows filk songbooks.
