forgot to tell you that you crack me up! I love the picture of dropping off
ten story building into pot of water!
when you select them, should be firm but not hard, soft but not mushy -
should have some give to it.
FYI a bit of trivia, the French call them Figues de Barbarie: Barbary Figs.
