I was head cook for Bardic Madness in Castel Rouge It was an illusion food
feast incorporating a love theme. We got off to a bit of a shaky start, due
to very low advanced reservations. Some tickets were sold the day of,
which helped off set the costs. Unfortunately, that meant there weren't
enough of certain of the fancier items to go around, but there was lots of
food overall, so hopefully no one went away hungry!

People really seemed to enjoy the special presentations we employed for each
course (a couple of people who ate off board commented on how much the
enjoyed watching everything even though they weren't able to afford eating
it). Many pictures were taken, some by my husband and some by others - but
it will take me a little while to track them down and figure out how to post
them.

I'll post the recipes and descriptions tomorrow - right now my bed is
calling me! We also had crashers at our house AND hosted the post revel
(did you know our house is bigger on the inside than it is on the
outside?). I should have done a head count - I think that's the largest
amount of people we've ever had, and we've had some pretty well attended
parties in the past.
