Personally, I see no harm in mentioning it, but you'll need to guage your
audience.. Some SCAdians are so anti ANY religious observance, that the mere
mention might set them off- OTOH, religion WAS a big thing in the MA, and
pretending it didn't exist is just silly.

Not sure if the Moslems did say a prayer before eating, but I do know that
if water was scarce, it was required to wash their eating hand with sand-
they were a very cleanly people.
