Excellent! I can work with this. This is sort of a stretch for me, I 
concentrate on medieval recipes.
I want to continue giving them medieval food regardless of the event type.

I am working from English recipes mostly given Tolkien was South African with 
English background (and lived there afterward), but it's a proving a 
challenge (I don't do fantasy things- I came into the SCA for historical reasons).

 I am justifying my involvement in this as I really wanted to cook for an 
event (keeping my talents current), this event has always been   a fantasy type 
event, and since the SCA is loosely inspired by Tolkien, I 've come to think of 
it as an SCA event, but not a medieval event.

I will continue to cook it a if it were a medieval event, but I'll offer 
different names for the food, Hobbit inspired.

Besides, it gives me a chance to offer some cool subtlety's...
