Probably.  I live in Buffalo and have lots of friends in the Deftwood
area.

As for the weather, it may be Mudfest by then (with a freeze the next
month), so don't worry too much.  And layering was period *really!*  One
lady here was wearing a turtleneck under her garb and when someone
commented she replied "It's an underwimple.  We always wore them in the
convent."
