There is a setting for this list not to recieve your own posts to the list.
 You can change that at 
http://www.ansteorra.org/mailman/listinfo/sca-cooks

Go down the screeen to the button and field that says "unsubscribe or edit options."
you enter the email address you use, click the button and and then you enter the password when prompted and click "Log in". 

About halfway down the page are the options. the fourth one is the "recieve your own posts" oprion.
It should be set to "Yes" to recieve. 
"No" will turn off recieving your own posts.

Check that first before you go nuts troubleshooting your emailer.
