[Sca-cooks] red curry paste v green and army food

Reminds of the time my x and I cooked a feast for an open house during which
a hundred people passed through!  He made satay and the sauce took us hours
to prepare cause he had to saute several pound of peanuts and then we
crushed them, then shallots, then garlic, then ginger.  We spent the night
pounding.  And then we had to throw it all away because he didn't like the
cane sugar he had got, so we started all over again!!!  Oh yea, and let's
not forget the pounds of beef that had to be sliced!
Besides the satay (skewered and grilled flat strips beef for those who dont'
know), I made a Moroccan couscous and Moroccan chicken stewed in almonds,
prunes and honey, and Moroccan chicken in olives and preserved
lemons.....other stuff too....
