***Like the idea. And I would contact the people in your area who rent
office equipment for conferences and see if you could get 4-5 copiers and
perhaps a person to fix and unjam them. Or perhaps for Kinkos to set up a
satelite copy center for the conference.

For the unpublished feast/menu/research info, how about publishing it all on
an event CD? (And get permissions to as many as possible for the florilegium
as well.)

Also, more than one copy of any available resource could be helpful.

Lists before hand could be good as well so people can preplan their search
priorities.

 > Spice/Herb/Supply Delivery -
***This seems like a lot of work that would result in spices that were less
fresh than if they were just mailordered.

But what does seem useful would be if an extra dollar was added to the
symposium cost to create a table were people could taste and or smell
various spices, especially the less common ones.

***A yellow pages of resources for mail order, local shops, and main driving
routes to/from the symposium for spices and less common foods could be
really helpful. It would help to have this on paper and also on the event
CD.

> Road Trips/Guided Tours -> Please let us know your opinions on these
ideas.
***Depending on what works best for the most people what about doing it the
day before or day after? Having a list of this on the event website for
preplanning and on the event CD would be helpful too.
