So, is this event still to happen? It sounds like it. When are you
taking orders and who do I mail my check to? :-)
Actually, it would be nice to be able to see a list of classes or a
table of contents or some such before putting money up front. Of
course, the cheaper it is, the less that is a concern.

I don't believe there will be a book from this year, although they may work
with some of the handouts they have to do a mock-up. It was a suggestion
for next year. The event happened two weeks ago. I rolled out the new
'Associate of Botanical Studies' degree program, we had new required courses
for those pursuing it. They are: "The History of Herbals", "The Humoral
Theory", "Period Garden Design", and "Botany for the SCA" (thanks to Jadwiga
for the idea, and thanks to Mistress Una from An Dun Theine for developing a
wonderful class). Posting the class list as a way to sell the book is a
good idea, I'll pass that along. Actually, it was from looking at the
spread of classes that gave me the idea, so many things I was not going to
be able to take! (Really wanted to sit in on "The History of Cupping", but
the teacher didn't make it and it was opposite the Pelican meeting :(

Is the plan to continue to sell the proceedings for awhile or just at
the event and a short time afterwards? If it is going to be available
for awhile, perhaps someone could eventually send me a message, telling
about the proceedings and where folks could buy them and I could put
that message in the appropriate Florilegium file(s). This is also where
I think a table of contents, perhaps even a snippet or summary of each
article, might be very useful in convincing people that it will be
worth their while to order the proceedings.

Hm, another really good idea. I'll pass that along as well. Thanks,
Stefan!
