[Sca-cooks] in need of rice-ware(?) history

OK.  Rice-ware probably isn't the name for the items in question so here's a 
description of what I'm seekng info on.  Ya know the china bowls, plates, 
etc that have the grains of rice embedded as part of the design?  That 
stuff.  Anyone know the history of it?
