Oh you guys have set me off again, especially
you Maire!  I have been inspired to write another
filk about shopping at Pennsic.

A medieval girl at Pennsic merchant row
Looking for the buy of her life
In the real time world no one sees her at all
They all say she’s crazy
Finding bargains to the beat of her heart
Changing money into things
She is shopping into the danger zone
When her camp site can hold no more

It became her whole way of life
When the hunt became the thing
On the edge between retail and wholesale

Fabric, books and sparkly stuff
Always shopping with her head for the deal
