Many camps have sheeting or fences surrounding their camps which help to 
some degree.  Our camp also has a "camp dad or mom" who is on duty so the 
camp is never left alone (and usually they aren't either!).  Our camp is 
also laid out so that they have a decent visual of the tents from their 
usual perch under the kitchen pavillion.  They also serve to zip and close 
up windows and flaps in case of a change in weather.
