thank you. of course, there is the standard UPOM * shaking the vinegar
on the salad! ;)

Did you do all the heraldic cookies? What were they?

the wedge shaped ones were shortbread done in a mold with celtic knotwork.
pix don't do them justice.

cookies were sugar cookies w/ lemon confectioner's glaze. i had great
helpers (and offers) from around the kingdom. the outlands is a great
place!

i made the heater shaped cookie cutters... large for baronial and kingdom
devices and small for the other less intricately painted. mistress joella
made the heater cookies. used edible paint pens and food color at
places. she was a gem!!!!!!!! did the shortbread too. no stencils but
freehand. she is a very talented scribe as well, which is why i asked her.

i made the quill shaped cookie cutter and did those myself. others from
around the barony made the rest.

a friend came over to make the metric buttload (227) of meat pies.

ya gotta have friends.... and a husband who doesn't mind take out and
scrambled eggs when you're coming into the home stretch. and who, with
the help of the cats and dogs, takes care of the mistakes. problem is,
his idea of a mistake cookie and mine are a bit different. 8)
