I agree that Hostess Apple Pies are a form of krapfen.
But I was working more to the point of my redneck influences
of grabbing something at the local market and chugging
a cup of coffee to suit me for the day.

If I had said that I enjoy Krapfen before a tournament, it would
make me sound far too sophisticated.
