[Sca-cooks] Ginger Syrup for "Dayboard"

Hi Everyone,
  I've  joined the cooks list temporarily, since the fighters out here 
don't seem to be giving us much feedback.
The good news is that I have some ginger syrup soaking as we speak!
I have about a quart of it - I didn't use this recipe, and I haven't tasted 
it yet to see how strong it is, but I can mix it up and see what's a 
pleasing proportion.

who actually made the syrup a while ago, because I had some candied ginger 
that was too dry to eat.
