[Sca-cooks] Apician Cookbook Question

There are over a dozen sites on the net that reproduce a sample of 
recipes from the Apician cookbook which are said to have been 
translated into English from a German book. I'm sure many folks here 
have run across these mirrored sites.

The text (replicated on all of them) says:

I just did a search on Bookfinder.com for this both in English and 
using the German language option and came up empty. Has anyone 
actually run across this book?

I am not looking for some other translation of Apicius. I've got 
Flower and Rosenbaum's translation, and Andrew Dalby's books on Greek 
and Roman food, and Dalby and Sally Grainger (The Classical 
Cookbook), and Patrick Faas (Around the Table), and Ilaria Giacosa (A 
Taste of Ancient Rome), and Mark Grant (Roman Cookery)

And i know that Sally Grainger is working on a translation of Apicius 
- i assume with worked out recipes - and i've heard that Mary Ellen 
Milham is supposed to have one coming out soon.

I'm just curious about this supposed German source that is posted in 
so many places on the web.
