Nothing is wrong with Blackberries, particularly Oregon Coast Blackberries.
The canes on the other hand are the equivalent of razor wire, and make
getting to the berries, car, house, road, school bus, etc. an ...
experience.

Llamas seem to love them however, and have been known to eat the canes back
to the point where it was possible for humans to get at the fruit without
needing blood transfusions afterwards.

Llamas will also eat grape leaves and leave the grapes.  Something my
brother, the gentleman vintner appreciates and uses just before harvest
time.  Makes grape picking easier!
