[Sca-cooks] Where R we?

I am currently living in the canton of Northpass in the East Kingdom, just
North of New York City.   I'm very sleepy at the moment trying to read all
the 200 some odd notes you all wrote while I was feastacrating the
Winterwolf event this weekend.  This is my first post to this list as I've
been hiding in the shadows reading the daily topics. Anyhow pleased to be
here as a fly on the wall and will return you to the normal good eats
discussions.

I've been cooking for the dessert revel at Northshield Rapier Academy 
this weekend here in our local group.  I've made a few period munchies, 
plus a couple of modern ones that people always request at my house.  I 
also made a sugar paste griffon (AKA Ferdinand the Aneorexic 
Wonder-Griffon),  a sugar paste figure of the Queen with a White Scarf 
on her shoulder, in honor of it being a rapier event (unfortunately the 
main similarity they share is the same number of limbs :-) and an 
approximation of the garb she wore at Coronation) and a few other 
assorted sugar paste items; like walnut shells to stuff with small 
papers with verses written on them, quartered hard boiled eggs, playing 
cards and cinnamon sticks.

I've already taken some pictures and will take more at the event.  I'll 
let both this list and the Subtleties list know when the photos are posted.
