I consider sig lines one of the bigger space wasters on the net and they
certainly add to the editing on replies. Like television advertising they
stop being cute after Nth appearance. Please note, I do not use a sig.

That being said, I recognize that many sigs represent the opinions of the
sender, and that those opinions may have no bearing on the subject at hand
and may even be contrary or offensive to my opinions as an old line
conservative. In the spirit of good manners, I ignore them.

Your message chastises the senders of the sig lines for being sore losers
and you tell them to get over it. Please consider what your message says
about conservatives in general and you in particular. That you are
ill-willed, uncharitable, and unmagnanimous in victory and that
conservatives are the political equivalent of a schoolyard bully who value
the First Amendment only when it applies to them. These are not the traits
I prefer to have associated with conservatism.

This list is Count Gunthar's "house." He sets the rules and enforces them.
Since he does not object to the sigs, I see no reason to. He does object to
threads which wander far afield into political vitriol. This conversation
is not really apropos to this list, so I'm going to end my participation
with this one message. I do have a suggestion for you Lord James, if you
wish to counter the "leftist propaganda," put it in your sig, that way I can
ignore it like all the others.

it is counter productive to go on about it. Like this and especially in the
forum.
