Sigh.

I don't get to look at this list except maybe a couple of times a day now
and it usually goes swimmingly. Then, there are the other times.

Okay. Offical word.

Sig lines are okay as long as there are no more than two and they are not
offensive by American Censorship Bureau standards. Please trim all .sig
lines
when replying.

I agree that this is not the forum for political discussions or whatnot.
However,
this forum is not rigidly SCA or Cooking only. Things get discussed. Any
topic
is worth discussion as long as the discussion stays friendly and
professional.
Flaming is NOT allowed and rudeness or coarsness will not be allowed and
dealt
with accordingly.

It is requested that we try to stay as relevant as possible but I don't mind
deviations from form. If a topic goes far too off or becomes inflammitory
(AS THE RECENT POLITICAL DISCUSSION HAS BECOME) then it will be ended.

Master A's politics are well known, as are mine (Hell, I still proudly wear
my
"Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker here in Dallas) and most of this list is
probably
left-leaning. But it should not dissolve into put-downs of either our
current
President just for the sake of putting him down or those who support him.
Politics is far too volitile a matter and can result in nasty arguments and,
worse
yet, hurt feelings. This will not happen on my list.

Apologize, shake hands, and argue about the nature of cuskynoles.

Things I do get riled up about:

Not trimming replies. Be kind to those digest readers or those with limited
storage.

Not changing the subject line when the topic is nowhere near what the
subject
line says.

Deliberate attempts to degrade, anger, hurt or abuse any other member of the
list.

Being mean to me. I'm a delilcate soul.

Replying to a message and posting a huge list of previous postings. Cut and
paste, people.

Lack of courtesy.

I think this should be simple enough.

Yers,

Gunthar
