Yeah, the parsing of Menagier is particularly problematic. There are
lots of recipes that refer to or bleed into others, and an awful lot of
notes that are more commentaries on other recipes. If I make the
sections too small then the context is lost, but if they're too big
then they're not specific enough to be useful. I personally use the
index of Menagier for a rough search and then check the full text for
any interesting hits.
