[Sca-cooks] McGee's On Food and Cooking due in Novemeber

The new heavily revised edition of Harold McGee's On Food and Cooking
is due out in November. There's an article on him in the October issue 
of Gourmet.
For those that don't know, this is a great book on food science and lore.
