The blurb says "He has rewritten the text almost completely, EXPANDED 
IT BY TWO THIRDS, and commissioned over 100 new illustrations." 
[emphasis mine]  Gaah!  My paperback copy of the first edition is 
already almost 700 pages and weighs a kilogram.  I'll have to get the 
new one....
