I was given to understand that the crew that did 30 Year submitted a bid, 
and were told that it would be given to someone else- something about 
'fairness'. :-P A good bid being hard to find (and an event of that size 
and scope is not easy) this does not make a whole lot of sense to me. But 
then, I'm not on the BOD, nor ever likely to be.
