A good find in the book? Or the artichoke recipe?

The first part of Fabulous Feasts isn't that bad. The part with the 
food information and such. If she had stopped there, the book probably 
would be held in much higher regard. Just ignore the recipes, at least 
for period cooking. Even then, I've heard good things about some 
recipes and very, bad reviews of others.
