She should probably talk to the manufacturer of her machine, but I 
betcha some of the new oxyclean-type products would work, or some sort 
of non-chlorine bleach.
Also, my mom had amazing luck with bleaching my baby sister's diapers 
just by hanging them on the line to dry.
