    Oh, REALLY?  I have not heard of any such precaution  -- and I eat beets
fairly regularly  {once a week}  could you please give me more details?

Caointiarn  {diabetic, type 2 since Feb 2003}
HGBA1c:  6.3 & holding steady
and I lost 6 lbs this past quarter
and I lowered my cholesterol {176}since last year
