In keeping with the idea of helping maintain heirloom seeds, this seems like
and easy thing to do!

Subject: Landreth Seed Co. site

This message is from some friends of my sister, who are trying to revive the
oldest seed company in the U.S. Please read the message below, and then
visit their website, even if you don't intend to order anything. As the
message says, it's the website visits that are important right now! Thanks!
Rhonda

Guys

As you know, Barb and I own and have been in the process of resuscitating
the oldest seed company and the 5th oldest continually operated corporation
in the United States. The D.
Landreth Seed Company, www.landrethseeds.com, was established in 1784. We
have made reasonably good progress in this effort but need to increase our
exposure to the marketplace. One effective way to do that is to heighten
our presence on the web, and to increase the number of times our site is
visited. Although our internet business has grown remarkably over the past
year, we need to increase the number of visits to the site in order for the
site to be listed among similar companies found on the first or second page
when one, for example, types "heirloom seeds" into their search engine. At
present the Landreth name does not come up at all unless one types it in
directly.

So, I would like to ask each of you to pass along to your long lists of
e-mail friends a request to visit the Landreth web site. Do it as many
times as they would like (the more the better!). Actually I think you and
your friends will find the site interesting and informative. Landreth is
truly an interesting piece of Americana. Any feedback positive or negative
will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

Peter
