One thing I've always wondered about, with this whole "eating spoiled meats" 
idea is---wouldn't it make you sick?  I've had food poisoning, and also an 
unfortunate reaction to too much tequila, some 15-20 years ago, and I still 
can't bring myself to eat the foods involved.  I'm sure some of my feelings 
are mental, as I also don't like Jello because it's what we got to eat when 
we were sick as children, but if you knew bad food made you sick wouldn't 
you not eat it again?
