Brandy (if I'm reading brennivin right) is late SCA period, but not 
necessarily Icelandic.  The question is if it was imported originally before 
or after 1600.

the shark (Hakarl) isn't that bad, you just have to wash it down with
brennivin, wich is not really traditional I think, but still tastes nice.
