albuquerque (and new mexico) are in the middle of an 
arctic surge.  3 degrees this a.m. in the south valley of 
albuquerque.  weathermen on the 5:30 a.m. are on locale 
wetting towels and t-shirts and watching them freeze and 
wiggling them like so much sheet metal on camera.

it does warm up to the 40's during the day, tho.

having a passive solar geodesic dome house, we just lit 
the heater about two weeks after everybody else.
