[Sca-cooks] soup recipe?

Greetings,

A few years back a was looking at a borrowed period
cookbook and found a recipe for a vegetable soup or
root vegetables in broth was how it might have been
listed.  I was only borrowing the book and no longer
have the recipe.  Anyone have any ideas.  I have
looked thru many online sources, and have yet to find
it. 

I remember it was root type veggies in a veggie broth.
 No meat at all.
