[Sca-cooks] a Lenten question-

I'm following Lainie's lead, I think.  Both in doing more research, and 
in giving up chocolate.
If I can get my act together, I might do a week of Medieval Lent this 
year.  It would be interesting, at the very least--I don't eat tons of 
meat, but I *do* eat a _lot_ of dairy products (cheese, eggs, milk, etc.).
And no, I'm not Catholic, either.  Not even Christian, in my 
jeans-and-tee-shirt guise of "Sue," although "Maire" is both. ;-)
