I have two, and a very nice Crock Pot cook book--none of which get used more 
than once every two months. They're nice to have around for an occasional 
use, but to me they are hardly essential kitchen equipment. Kind of like my 
blender--mostly a space hog, but when I need it, there's no substitute!!
