ah, so you too survived helm deep! cuz that's about how
high some of the water seemed! ;) wrote a great poem
about that underwater estrella. and a lot of the outlands
encampment was under water!
my best advice (and i am indeed a wuss) is to go to bed
while you are still warm. don't let the chill get to you
before bed. if you hit the midnight madness sale, wear
your flannel jamies under your tunic/dress. you will be
warm when it comes off for bed.
and, of course, have one change of clothing skin out in a
plastic bag. take lots of garbage bags in case you need
to water proof something.
and come by our encampment... we have a great propane
firepit (made by hubby) and a plastic dome carport that
kept us dry thru XIX.
not period, but practical for this old gal. ;)
