Unless I'm one of the 10 cooks, in which case you have 9 recipes, I have
always hated meatloaf.

  Actually where I learned cooking,  meat loaf wrapped around a hard boiled
egg was called a "scotch egg". Of which there are as many different versions
as there are meat loaf recipes.
  Pick a city in North America and you have a different meat loaf. Indeed
pick any place with more then 10 cooks and you have a different meat loaf.
